With a view to reducing ongoing running costs of their Automatic Weather Stations powered by mains electricity the Bureau requested tenders for a solar and diesel power solution.

Aura’s tender submission proposed our solar hybrid solution as an alternative. Intrigued by the prospect of an entirely fossil fuel free power solution the Bureau engaged Aura to trial the Aura Hybrid Clean Energy system for 12 months at its test facility in Broadmeadows, Victoria.
